Home phones: Specialized version for you
George Bernard Shaw used to put on socks, specially tailored for right and left leg. His argument was that if we had shoes made separately for right and left leg then why not the socks. Though the world is not influenced by Shaw in this case and does not deem it fit to stitch socks for individual leg, yet it could made lots of customized things, keeping individual borrower in mind.
For example, we can take the case of home phones. Earlier this device was simply a means of making and receiving calls. But as time passing by, extra functionalities, rich features and elegant design has of modern phones has given way to the old version.
The days of sticking to one place for using home phones are over. Similarly maintaining a manual diary to keep a record of the contact number of friends, relatives, and colleagues is also a passé. Modern home phones come with data storing capability, caller ID, call divert etc. add-ons. Cordless receivers are almost a mobile phone with only drawback of not covering that much vast area.
